I cut every belt from 4 mm full-grain leather from Tärnsjö Garveri and make it to your exact waist measurement. No standard sizes, no generic holes. You give me your measurement in centimetres and I cut the belt to exactly that.
The buckle is solid and sand-cast in brass or stainless steel, attached with Chicago screws rather than glue. That means the buckle can always be replaced if needed. A lifetime warranty is included on everything.
Your initials are stamped by hand into the leather. At no extra cost.

All six models are made from the same 4 mm Tärnsjö leather at 38 mm width. The difference is the buckle silhouette. Choose the shape that feels right for you — everything else is identical.

Nils is the belt most people choose as their first Palsjö. The buckle is sand-cast in traditional style and has real weight to it. The brass version gives a warm, classic feel that works with everything from jeans to chinos.
For those who prefer a more modern and minimal look, regardless of leather colour.

No. 1 Leather Belt

No. 1 is the original. It was the first belt Mano made and it is still in the range because it holds up. The buckle has personality without being difficult to wear. Brass is the natural choice here.
The steel buckle gives No. 1 a sharper and more contemporary feel. Same distinctive buckle shape, but with a cooler finish for those who prefer a modern look.

Do you need a dress belt?
If you need a belt for a suit or formal wear, there are four narrower models. Classic Slim and No. 1 Slim are 32 mm with brass. Erik and Axel are 35 mm with polished steel. The same Tärnsjö leather as every casual model.

Classic Slim & No. 1 Slim
32 mm with a clean brass buckle. Fits suit trousers with narrower belt loops and gives a classic formal look. If Foundation is your everyday belt and you need something for a suit, this is the right model.
Same 32 mm width but with a buckle shape that has more personality. If this is your only belt for formal occasions, you get something that is formal enough for a suit but distinctive enough to be noticed.
Model 09 + 10 · 35 mm · Polished stainless steel · Natural, Brown, Dark Brown, Black
Erik & Axel
35 mm with a polished steel buckle and a clean, elegant shape. If you are buying one dress belt and want it to work with everything from a dark suit to light linen trousers, Erik is the safe choice.
Axel shares Erik’s 35 mm width and polished steel but has a buckle shape with more character. If this is your only dress belt, you get something formal enough for a suit but distinctive enough to stand out.

Up to four letters are stamped directly into the leather before the belt leaves the workshop. It is not a label or a print. It is a mark that stays for life and becomes more defined over the years as the leather darkens around it.

SIZE
Measure once — and the belt fits perfectly.

Method 1:
- Put on your favourite jeans
- Measure from the top button through the belt loops back to the main button again
- If you are between sizes, round up to the next cm (for example, if your measurement is 92.4 cm, order 93 cm)
Method 2:
- Measure your existing belt from the tip of the buckle pin to the hole you use most. Keep the belt flat while you measure.
- If you are between sizes, round up to the next cm (for example, if your measurement is 92.4 cm, order 93 cm)
Every belt is cut to your exact measurement, not S, M or L. That means you get a belt that fits precisely — but it requires you to measure carefully following the instructions above. Do not use your jeans size. Measure an existing belt or follow the measuring guide — it takes a minute and makes all the difference.
Over 950 belts have left the workshop. Three have come back because of a sizing issue. All three had not followed the measuring instructions.
If you measure correctly and the belt still does not fit — I adjust it at no cost. That is my promise.

Palsjö is a one-man workshop in Älmhult, a small town in the Småland region of Sweden. Every product is made by one person — me. My name is Mano. I cut the leather, I assemble it, I finish it and I send it to you.
This is not a romantic idea. It is about accountability. When the same person does everything, there is no one else to blame if something falls short. Every belt that leaves this workshop carries my name — and that is how I want it to stay.
Products from Palsjö are made to be repaired, not replaced. Every belt is assembled with Chicago screws rather than glue. If the buckle ever wears out it can be swapped easily. The leather is built to last a lifetime, and the warranty reflects exactly that.
