Stock cases crack, tear, and end up in a drawer within a year, leaving the lenses riding loose in a bag with your keys. Palsjö cases are full-grain Tärnsjö leather, cut and stitched by hand in Älmhult, built to close a thousand times and still hold.

YOUR EYEWEAR
Most people use one generic case for everything they own. It never fits either pair properly. Here’s the difference.
Sunglasses fold into a bulkier shape than reading glasses, so this case is built with the extra depth and room that takes, from athletic wraparounds like Oakley or Maui Jim to deep teardrop styles like classic Ray-Ban Aviators. Nothing gets forced shut, nothing presses on the curved lenses.
Cut slim for frames that fold flat, tailored to fit straight-front and geometric styles like Wayfarers, Clubmasters, and heritage round frames like the Moscot Lemtosh. Sleek enough to slide into a jacket pocket or bag pouch without adding bulk, with the same burnished, lens-safe interior on every case.
The nose bridge is two layers of leather laminated together, 2.6mm total. The brass snap closes directly over that point, so the pressure lands on structure, not on your frames.
A Royal Swedish Purveyor tanning hides since 1873. Vegetable tanned, so it ages and deepens with use instead of cracking and fading.
Sealed with tokonole so there is no loose fibre or dust to settle on your lenses. A clean, smooth surface every time you open it.
The Sunglasses Case is sized for Wayfarers, Aviators, Persol folding frames, Moscot Lemtosh and Zev, Oliver Peoples, and most oversized styles.
PRICE IN PERSPECTIVE

€94 is not cheap for a case. It is cheap for the last case your sunglasses will ever need.
REAL CUSTOMERS
"Beautiful leather, wonderful quality and craftsmanship. Feels really well made. Very happy!"
Last year I paid €200 for a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarers. The glasses were exactly right. The case was not, thin, hollow, coated to look like leather but built from bonded scraps over cardboard.
I left it in the car, where sunglasses live all summer. By September the flap had torn around the button, not from a drop, just from sitting through a Swedish summer’s heat and cold. A €350 pair of Moscot Lemtosh did the same thing in a different case. I looked into it and found I wasn’t alone. It’s what always happens when bonded material goes through repeated heat and cold, it weakens at the flex points until it splits.
I couldn’t find a real leather case on the market, so I cut one myself from full-grain Tärnsjö leather. It doesn’t fight temperature changes, it flexes through them, and it’s built to outlast whatever sunglasses go inside it.
“Palsjö is a one-man workshop. I cut it, I burnish it, I finish it and I send it to you. When the same person does everything, there’s no one else to blame if something falls short.”
You’ve seen how it’s made. Now pick the one that solves your problem: one case, two with a free third, or the complete set with nothing left to add. Every option ships with the same lifetime warranty, whichever you choose is yours for good.

The Sunglasses Case is sized for the bulkier folded shape of sunglasses, confirmed to fit Ray-Ban Wayfarers and Aviators, Persol folding frames, Moscot Lemtosh and Zev, Oliver Peoples, and most oversized styles. If your frames fit inside a standard case, they fit here.
Sunglasses fold into a bulkier shape than reading glasses, so the Sunglasses Case is built with extra room. The Glasses Case is cut slim for frames that fold flat, like reading glasses or everyday prescriptions. If you own both types, Companion Duo lets you get one of each.
Which case do you need?
The Classic Leather Sunglasses Case: Best suited for athletic wraparounds (like Oakley or Maui Jim) and deep teardrop styles (like classic Ray-Ban Aviators). Designed with extra depth to cradle curved lenses securely.
The Slim Leather Glasses Case: Tailored for straight-front, geometric, and lifestyle frames (such as Ray-Ban Wayfarers, Clubmasters, and heritage round frames like the Moscot Lemtosh). Built slim and sleek to match a flatter profile.

Every case carries the same lifetime warranty as everything else made in this workshop. If the construction ever fails, Mano fixes it. Built to be repaired, not replaced.
Every case is cut and finished by hand in Älmhult, Sweden, before it ships. Delivery times are about 7-10 days. Delivery times can vary during peak seasons like Christmas time.
Full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather from Tärnsjö Garveri, a Royal Swedish Purveyor tanning hides since 1873. It darkens and softens with handling instead of wearing out.
No. Every sunglasses case is burnished by hand using a compound called Tokonole. Tokonole seals the leather so there is no loose fibre or dust to settle on your lenses. A clean, smooth surface every time you open it.
The nose bridge is reinforced with two layers of leather laminated together, 2.6mm total, and the brass snap closes directly over that exact point. So when something presses on the case from outside, in a bag, under keys, in a glove compartment, the pressure lands on that reinforced structure instead of transferring through to your frames or lenses.
The case is also built with the extra depth folded sunglasses actually need, rather than a tight, one-size shape. Sunglasses fold into a bulkier form than reading glasses, so if a case is sized too snugly, the frames themselves end up absorbing pressure just to fit inside it. Sizing the case correctly means nothing gets forced shut and nothing pressed against the curved lenses in the first place.
