We start with gorgeous, grade A, full grain vegetable tanned leather from Tärnsjö Garveri – they are world famous and right here in Sweden. Tärnsjö leather is good for the environment and looks better over time. It ages gracefully with a unique patina reflecting your lifestyle.
Each also has a durable solid stainless steel or brass buckle. And we make them custom sized to your exact waist size for a perfect fit!

Men’s Dress Belts Made With Full Grain Vegetable Tanned Leather
Like all our belts, these are also made with full grain vegetable tanned leather from Tärnsjö Garveri in Sweden. We begin with a leather strap that is 4mm (10oz) thick, just right for a belt. It is comfy and will last. This leather is strong enough so it won’t stretch too much, but still feels comfortable when you wear it with your pants.
Tärnsjö leather is good for the planet. Tt ages nicely and develops a beautiful patina that people who care about quality will really appreciate!
Since Tärnsjö Garveri’s clientele involve the Swedish royal family and big names such as Hermes and Louis Vuitton, we’re pretty sure we’re using some top notch leather!

Solid Metal Buckle Men’s Dress Belts
With such beautiful leather, we had to find equally beautiful solid metal buckles that were not only good looking but also super durable. We decided on solid brass and stainless steel buckles. These are two of the most popular colour choices that go well with the formal outfits. They also match other metal accessories like bracelets and watches nicely. But most importantly, brass and stainless steel don’t rust.
These buckles are manufactured the old school way using the traditional sand casting techniques. Artisans then finish them nicely to give it a high quality feel.

Next, we wanted to make sure that the belts fit nicely. The last thing that anyone putting together a polished look is to have a sloppy leather belt that looks cheap or is ill fitting and flaps around.
So, even though it is time consuming to make one belt at a time, we still believe that the end result is so much better than generic sized belts. And we hope that you feel the same. In our humble opinion, a nice fitting belt sits snug and the tip of the belt just passes the first belt loop and sits about mid way between the first and second belt loop (see image below).

We also almost exclusively use Tärnsjö leather is because their leather is a by product of the meat industry. It is sourced from local farms where the cows have had a very good life.
