How do I know the belt will actually fit?
Every belt is cut to your exact waist measurement in 1cm increments. Not S, M, or L. Your actual measurement in centimetres. When you order, you enter the size of a belt that already fits you well, and Mano cuts yours to that number. There are no standard holes to guess between. The belt fits because it was made for your waist specifically, not adjusted to approximate it.
If it does not fit when it arrives, the Perfect Fit Guarantee covers you. Send it back and Mano resizes it. No charge, no questions, no awkward conversation.
What if I order the wrong size?
Rarely happens. With over 1,000 belts made, Mano has received two or three back for sizing issues. When customers follow the measurement instructions — there is a short video that walks you through it in under a minute — they get it right. The method is simple and the video makes it foolproof.
If you are in the very small minority who gets it wrong, the Perfect Fit Guarantee covers you. Send it back and Mano resizes it at no charge. But the honest answer is that if you watch the video and measure carefully, you will not need to.
Is €495 actually worth it for a belt?
Worth pausing on that question, because it is the wrong frame. The Legacy Suite is not a belt purchase. It is two belts, a matching watch band, a wallet, a leather keychain, a Heritage Preservation Balm, custom initial stamping, and priority crafting — all from the same Tärnsjö tannery, all made by one craftsman, all sized to you. Bought separately, those pieces retail at €647. The suite brings that to €495.

How long does it take to arrive?
Tier 3 Legacy Suite buyers go to the front of the bench. Mano builds your order before standard orders. Dispatch is within 5 to 7 business days. Shipping within Sweden and to most EU countries adds 2 to 4 days. International orders are typically 5 to 10 days from dispatch depending on destination. You receive a tracking number when your order ships.
I have never heard of Palsjö. How do I know this is legitimate?

Mano is a real person whose name and workshop are on every piece that leaves the bench. He answers emails himself. Can I choose different colours for each piece in the suite?
Yes. When you place your order, each piece has its own colour selection. You choose the model and colour for each belt separately, and the wallet and watch band have their own options too. Everything is selected before you add to cart — no need to add notes or instructions at checkout.
You do not have to match everything. But if you choose the same colour family across all four pieces, they will develop the most cohesive patina over time. All pieces come from Tärnsjö Garveri and age in the same direction, so a matched colour choice on day one becomes something genuinely beautiful ten years in.
I do not wear a watch. Can I still order the Legacy Suite?
Yes. If the watch band is not useful to you, just mention at checkout that you would prefer a third belt instead. Mano will make the swap. Three belts, a wallet, the keychain, the balm, and the stamping. Same suite, no unused piece sitting in a drawer.
Can I order two casual belts instead of one casual and one dress belt?
Yes. When you place your order, you choose each belt independently on the product page. If you want two casual belts in different colours, that is a perfectly valid combination. Some customers prefer two casual belts in different shades — a brown for the weekend and a dark brown for smart casual — rather than stepping into a dress belt.
That said, one casual and one dress belt is the combination most customers go for, and for good reason. The casual belt handles everything from jeans to chinos. The dress belt handles suits, trousers, and client dinners. Together they cover every outfit and every occasion without compromise. If you are unsure, that pairing is the one you will reach for most.
What if something breaks years from now?
Everything Palsjö makes carries a lifetime warranty. If the stitching ever fails, Mano repairs it. If the leather develops a fault, he fixes it. The belts are fastened with Chicago screws rather than glue, which means the hardware can be replaced if it ever wears. This is intentional. The product is designed to be maintained by the person who made it, not disposed of when something goes wrong.
Do I pay customs or import duties if I order from outside Sweden?
Orders within the EU are shipped without customs duties. For orders outside the EU, import duties depend on your country’s regulations and are the responsibility of the buyer. If you are unsure what applies to your country, it is worth checking before ordering. Palsjö ships worldwide and the product arrives as declared — handmade leather goods from Sweden.
What is your return policy?
Non-personalised items can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Because belts are custom-sized and stamped with your initials, they are made specifically for you and cannot be restocked or resold. This is why the Perfect Fit Guarantee exists — if the sizing is wrong, the solution is a resize, not a return. If you receive an item that is damaged or has a fault, contact Mano directly and it will be resolved.
