This is the same leather used across every Palsjö product. It is aniline dyed in warm brown with soluble dyes that penetrate the full thickness of the hide. No pigment layer, no topcoat, no synthetic surface coating. The brown you see is the colour of the leather itself, consistent all the way through, which means it does not crack, peel, or fade. Full-grain means nothing has been sanded away from the surface of the hide. The natural grain, the subtle tonal variations, and the character of the leather are all fully present and fully intact. The seams are machine-stitched with size 20 Gütermann thread. The edges are sanded, bevelled, and burnished by hand, then dyed and finished with beeswax. The wallet is stamped with the Palsjö maker’s mark.

Brown vegetable-tanned leather develops a patina that rewards daily carry.
