Full-grain means nothing has been sanded away from the surface of the hide. The natural strength and grain of the leather are completely intact. The seams are machine-stitched with size 20 Gütermann thread. The edges are sanded, bevelled, and burnished by hand, then dyed and finished with beeswax for durability and water resistance. Products from Palsjö are made to be repaired, not replaced. Every belt is assembled with Chicago screws rather than glue. If the buckle ever wears out it can be swapped easily. The leather is built to last a lifetime, and the warranty reflects exactly that.
