Our women’s leather belts are custom sized to your exact measurement, not your pant size. The most accurate method is to measure a belt you already own. Please see the two ways you can measure your belt size correctly. Please follow our instructions closely. This ensures your made to measure belt fits perfectly from the moment it arrives.
Here is how we suggest you measure your belt size.
Method 1:
- Wear your favourite pair of jeans or pants
- Measure from the main button through the belt loops to the main button again
- If you are between sizes, round it off to the next number (e.g. if your size is 92.4 cm, order 93cm)
Method 2:
- Measure your existing belt from the tip of the buckle to the most used hole. Straighten your belt while you measure.
- If you are between sizes, round it off to the next number (e.g. if your size is 92.4 cm, order 93cm)
What if my weight fluctuates over time?
Every custom leather belt for women we craft features five adjustment holes. Your specific measurement will be the center hole. This gives you two inches of flexibility to go both larger and smaller, ensuring your durable leather beltremains comfortable for years.
Can I just use my pant size?
We strongly advise against using pant size. Modern “vanity sizing” means a size 28 in one brand might actually measure 31 inches. Measuring an existing belt is the only way to guarantee your handmade leather belt won’t be too long or too short.

We use only full-grain vegetable tanned leather from Tärnsjö Garveri. While “genuine leather” is often made from bonded scraps and plastic coatings, full-grain utilizes the entire thickness of the hide. It is the strongest, most breathable leather available. The living patina: Our vegetable tanned leather is a living material. The natural and brown tones specifically will begin to darken almost immediately as they absorb oils from your hands and exposure to sunlight.

Why does the natural leather look so pale at first?
Our natural leather is untreated and raw. It starts as a pale tan and will gradually darken into a deep, rich caramel as it absorbs oils from your hands and exposure to sunlight. This “evolution” is the hallmark of a high-quality veg-tan product.
Will my leather belt stretch out of shape?
Because we use high-density full-grain vegetable tanned leather, our belts have very little stretch. While the leather will soften and “break in” to your body shape for a comfortable fit, it will not warp or elongate like cheap, chemically tanned alternatives.
