Nordic EDC is now Palsjö
For years, Nordic EDC has been a name associated with high-quality, handcrafted leather goods. Every wallet, belt, and accessory was made with the same passion and dedication to craftsmanship. Today, I’m excited to share a new chapter in this journey: Nordic EDC is now Palsjö.
While the name is changing, the core of what makes these products special remains the same. The leather, the craftsmanship, and the personal touch behind every item will continue just as before. Here’s why this change is happening and what it means for you.
Why the Change?
Over time, I realized that the name Nordic EDC was limiting. While I started with everyday carry items, my brand has evolved into something much more: a home for premium leather goods that stand the test of time. The term EDC (everyday carry) led to confusion since my focus is no longer just on small carry items but on finely crafted leather pieces that go beyond the typical EDC category.
With this in mind, I wanted a name that better reflects the heritage, craftsmanship, and personal journey behind the brand. Palsjö is a combination of my last name (Palwankar), my wife’s last name (Sjögren), and the street (Sjögatan) where Nordic EDC first began. My wife has been my biggest supporter throughout this journey, and this change is a tribute to that, as well as a step forward for the brand’s future.
What Stays the Same?
If you’ve ever owned a Nordic EDC product, you already know what to expect from Palsjö. The same premium vegetable-tanned leather, the same attention to detail, and the same dedication to quality and craftsmanship will continue. Every product will still be made by hand, one piece at a time, with the same commitment to excellence.
