I make one piece at a time, by hand, in my workshop in Älmhult. Every belt, every wallet, every watch band starts as a piece of full grain leather from Tärnsjö Garveri — a Swedish tannery doing this the same way since 1873.

THE BELT
The classic everyday belt. Works well on jeans and chinos. 4mm full-grain vegetable tanned leather with a heavy-duty solid brass or stainless steel buckle. Custom-sized to exact waist in 1cm increments. Beeswax-burnished edges. The brown and dark brown are the most worn — they develop a rich, personal patina over time.
The most versatile women’s belt. 25mm wide belt works well on Jeans, formal pants or even dresses. Same 4mm Tärnsjö leather and the same custom sizing — with a feminine buckle profile. Choose your metal finish at checkout: brass or stainless.

THE LEATHER
From a Swedish tannery doing this since 1873.
Every piece of leather used at Palsjö comes from Tärnsjö Garveri in Sweden. They are one of the last tanneries in the world still producing 100% vegetable-tanned leather using traditional methods. TÜV Rheinland certified. Royal Swedish Purveyor.
Vegetable-tanned leather ages differently from chrome-tanned leather. It develops a patina over time that is unique to the person wearing it. No two pieces age the same way. The belt you give at Studenten will look better in ten years than it does on day one.

How do I get the right belt size when buying as a gift?
Measure an existing belt the graduate already wears. Find the hole they normally use and measure from that hole to the inner edge of the buckle where the buckle and the pin meets. That gives you the size in centimetres.

What if I order the wrong size?
Rarely happens. With over 1,000 belts made, Mano has received two or three back for sizing issues. When customers follow the measurement instructions — there is a short video that walks you through it in under a minute — they get it right. The method is simple and the video makes it foolproof.
If you are in the very small minority who gets it wrong, the Perfect Fit Guarantee covers you. Send it back and Mano resizes it at no charge. But the honest answer is that if you watch the video and measure carefully, you will not need to.
Which belt and wallet are included in the sets?
I’ve looked into our best selling belts for men and women and chose Ebbe and Sara.
Ebbe is a 38 mm full grain casual belt in your choice of Black, Brown, Dark Brown, or Natural, with brass or stainless steel buckle.
Sara is a 25mm full grain belt that is very versatile. It works really well with jeans, trousers as well as dresses. Sara comes in 4 leather colours, natural, brown, dark brown and black. And in two buckles solid brass or stainless steel.
The wallet is the Origami inspired, stitchless, Coin and Cards wallet, made from the same Tärnsjö leather.
What is the Apple Watch band in the Signature Set?
The leather Apple Watch band is 2.5 mm full grain vegetable-tanned leather, hand-stitched with waxed Tiger thread. It comes in Black, Brown, Dark Brown, and Natural. On the product page you select the Apple Watch model, wrist size and hardware colour. It fits all Apple Watch sizes from 38 mm to 49 mm Ultra using the correct adapter.
How long does it take to make and deliver?
All tier sets dispatch within 3 working days of receiving your order. Delivery within Sweden typically takes 1 to 2 days after dispatch. For Denmark, Norway, Finland, allow 2 to 4 days. Order at least two weeks before the ceremony to be comfortable.
Do you ship to Denmark?
Yes. We ship worldwide. For Tier 1: The Starter Gift orders, shipping to Denmark is a flat €16. Shipping is included in the price for Tier 2: The Milestone Gift Set and Tier 3: The Signature Gift Set.
What if something breaks years from now?
Everything Palsjö makes carries a lifetime warranty. If the stitching ever fails, Mano repairs it. If the leather develops a fault, he fixes it. The belts are fastened with Chicago screws rather than glue, which means the hardware can be replaced if it ever wears. This is intentional. The product is designed to be maintained by the person who made it, not disposed of when something goes wrong.

Every Studenten gift set is made to order in Älmhult, Sweden by one craftsman. The leather is cut, stamped, stitched, and finished by hand. There is no factory. No shortcuts.
